Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Klaipėda city center and head southwest on Taikos pr. towards Šilutės pl. Continue for approximately 12 km, then take the exit towards Karklė. Follow the signs for Karklė and continue on Karklės g. for 5 km. You will arrive at Dutchman's Cap (Olando Kepurė) in Karklė. There is a parking area nearby where you can safely leave your vehicle.
Public Transportation
To reach Dutchman's Cap via public transportation, start at the Klaipėda bus station. Take bus number 19 towards Karklė. The bus departs regularly, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Disembark at the 'Karklė' stop. From there, walk approximately 1 km towards the beach, following the signs for Dutchman's Cap. Note that bus tickets typically cost around €1.00.
Walking
If you are already in Karklė or nearby, you can walk to Dutchman's Cap. The pathway from the village to the Cap is well-marked. Simply follow the coastal trail leading towards the iconic cliff formation. The walk is scenic and takes about 20-30 minutes, depending on your pace.
