Car
If you are driving to the Lithuanian Sea Museum, start from the center of Klaipėda. Head north on the Vytauto g. street and continue straight. Follow the signs for 'Smiltynė' which will lead you to the ferry terminal. Park your car at the designated parking area near the ferry terminal. Take the ferry to Smiltynė (the ferry ride takes about 10-15 minutes and costs approximately €1-2 per person). Once you arrive at Smiltynė, walk along Smiltynės g. for about 10 minutes until you reach the Lithuanian Sea Museum located at Smiltynės g. 3.
Public Transportation (Bus + Ferry)
To reach the Lithuanian Sea Museum using public transportation, take a bus from any location in Klaipėda that heads towards the ferry terminal, such as bus numbers 1 or 3. The bus will drop you off near the ferry terminal. From there, purchase a ticket for the ferry to Smiltynė (costing about €1-2 per person). The ferry ride takes around 10-15 minutes. After disembarking at Smiltynė, walk along Smiltynės g. for approximately 10 minutes to reach the museum at Smiltynės g. 3.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Klaipėda. Follow the bicycle paths leading to the ferry terminal. Once at the terminal, you can take your bicycle on the ferry to Smiltynė (the ferry allows bicycles for a small additional fee, around €1). After arriving at Smiltynė, follow Smiltynės g. for about 10 minutes until you reach the Lithuanian Sea Museum at Smiltynės g. 3.
