The journey will take approximately 1.5 hours. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they stop at Nagliai Nature Reserve or nearby. Once you arrive at the nearest bus stop, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to the reserve, which is within walking distance.

For those feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Klaipėda. Start your journey from the city center and head towards the seaside promenade, following the signs towards Neringa. The bike ride is scenic but be prepared for a longer ride of about 20 kilometers. Follow the bike path towards the ferry terminal, then take the ferry to Smiltynė. Once on Smiltynė, continue cycling towards Nida, and make sure to stop at Nagliai Nature Reserve on the way.

If you prefer to walk, you can start by heading to the ferry terminal in Klaipėda. Take the ferry to Smiltynė (the ferry ride takes about 15 minutes). Once you arrive in Smiltynė, follow the coastal path south towards Nida. It’s a long walk, approximately 30 kilometers, so ensure you have enough time and supplies. Along the way, enjoy the beautiful scenery and keep an eye out for signs directing you to Nagliai Nature Reserve.
