Getting There

  • Bus

    From Klaipėda city center, head to the central bus station located at Maironio g. 10. Take the bus to Nida, which departs regularly from the station. The journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at Nida, disembark at the main bus stop. From there, walk north along Taikos g. for about 10 minutes until you reach Nida Lighthouse at Taikos g. 36a.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Klaipėda. Start from the city center and follow the bike path towards the Curonian Spit. You will need to take the ferry from Klaipėda to Smiltynė. After disembarking, continue cycling through the beautiful landscape of the Curonian Spit, heading towards Nida. The entire trip is about 50 km and takes around 3-4 hours. Once in Nida, follow the signs to Taikos g. and locate Nida Lighthouse at Taikos g. 36a.

    Walking directly to Nida from Klaipėda is not feasible due to the distance (approximately 50 km). However, you can take public transport (bus or ferry) to Nida. Once in Nida, you can explore the area on foot. From the main bus stop, head north along Taikos g. for about 10 minutes until you arrive at the Nida Lighthouse.
