Public Transport
From Klaipėda city center, head to the bus station (Klaipėda Autobusų Stotis). You can take bus number 30 or 31 towards Nida. The journey will take approximately 40-50 minutes. Once you arrive at Nida, get off at the Nida bus stop. From there, you can take a short walk (about 15 minutes) to the Sundial located at 93124 Neringa Municipality. Head towards the beach and follow the signs to the sundial.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Klaipėda. Start from the city center and follow the bike paths towards Nida. The ride will take about an hour and a half. Once you reach Nida, follow the coastal path towards the sundial. The seaside views along the way are quite scenic!
Walking
For the adventurous, you can walk to the Sundial from the city center. It will take around 4-5 hours, so be prepared with comfortable shoes and water. Start by heading towards the ferry terminal and cross over to Smiltynė. From there, follow the path along the coastline towards Nida, keeping an eye out for signage to the sundial. Make sure to enjoy the natural beauty along the way!
