Car
If you are driving, head towards Nida, located on the Curonian Spit. Use the main road (E272) from Klaipėda, which leads to the Curonian Spit. Once you reach the ferry terminal in Klaipėda, take the ferry to Smiltynė (there is a fee for the ferry, approximately 5 EUR per car). After disembarking, follow the signs towards Nida. Upon entering Nida, continue straight on the main road until you reach Skruzdynės street. Turn right onto Skruzdynės g. The Thomas Mann Culture Centre will be on your right at number 17.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Klaipėda to Nida. Buses depart regularly from the Klaipėda bus station and the journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Nida, you can either walk or take a taxi. If walking, head towards the main road and walk along it until you reach Skruzdynės street. Turn onto Skruzdynės g and continue until you find the Thomas Mann Culture Centre at number 17. Note that the bus ticket costs around 7-10 EUR.
Taxi
If you prefer a direct route from Klaipėda to Nida, consider taking a taxi. It’s a more expensive option, with fares typically ranging from 50 to 80 EUR depending on traffic and time of day. The taxi will take you directly to the Thomas Mann Culture Centre, located at Skruzdynės g. 17, Nida.
