Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Nida Beach, head east on Taikos g. toward Vyturių g. Continue on the main road, following signs for Neringa and the ferry terminal. Once you reach the ferry terminal, take the ferry to the mainland. After disembarking, follow the signs to the A13 highway towards Klaipėda. Merge onto the A1 highway towards Šiauliai. Take the exit for Akmenė and follow the signs to Papilė. The Jurakalnis Observation Tower is located at 1011, Papilė. There is free parking available near the tower.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Jurakalnis Observation Tower via public transportation, start by taking a bus from Nida to Klaipėda. The bus station is located near the center of Nida. Once you arrive in Klaipėda, transfer to a bus heading to Papilė. Check the local bus schedules for the most accurate times. After arriving in Papilė, it is a short walk to the Jurakalnis Observation Tower, located at 1011, Papilė. Be sure to check if there are any bus fares, typically around €2-€3 for the journey.

• Bicycle

  For the more adventurous, consider cycling from Nida Beach to Jurakalnis Observation Tower. You can rent a bicycle in Nida. Head east on Taikos g. and continue toward the ferry terminal. After crossing the ferry to the mainland, follow the bike paths and roads towards Papilė. It is approximately a 30 km ride, so be prepared for a longer journey. The observation tower is located at 1011, Papilė, and there are bike racks available for parking your bicycle.
