Starting from Nida Beach, head north on the main road (A13) towards Klaipėda. Continue for approximately 32 kilometers until you reach Kretinga. In Kretinga, follow the signs to Kartena (Kartenos) and take the local road (Kretinga-Kartena road). After around 12 kilometers, you will arrive at Kartena hillfort, located at 2222, 97346 Kretingos r. sav. There is parking available nearby.

From Nida Beach, catch a bus to Klaipėda. Buses run regularly, and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once in Klaipėda, transfer to a bus heading to Kretinga.
