Car
From Nida Beach, head north on the main road (Neringa Road, also known as Nidos g.) towards the town of Neringa. Continue straight for about 10 kilometers until you reach the ferry terminal at Smiltynė. Take the ferry across the Curonian Lagoon to Klaipėda, which typically costs around €5 per vehicle and €2 per person. Once in Klaipėda, follow the signs for Palanga (A13) and drive for approximately 25 kilometers. As you approach Palanga, look for the signs to Samogitian Sanctuary, located at Kuršių tak. 289, Palanga. The sanctuary will be on your left.
Public Transportation
From Nida Beach, take a local bus (route 33) to Klaipėda. The bus departs from the Nida Bus Station and the journey takes about 1.5 hours, costing around €3. Once in Klaipėda, transfer to a bus heading to Palanga. These buses are frequent and take about 30 minutes. Upon arriving in Palanga, you can either walk or take a taxi to the Samogitian Sanctuary, which is located at Kuršių tak. 289. The sanctuary is about a 15-minute walk from the Palanga bus station.
