From Nida Beach, drive towards the Nida ferry terminal located at the southern end of the town. Follow the signs to the ferry, which will take you across the Curonian Lagoon to Smiltynė. The ferry operates frequently, but it’s best to check the schedule. The fare for a car is approximately 15 EUR, and for pedestrians, it's about 2 EUR. Once you arrive in Smiltynė, follow the signs to Smiltynės Beach, which is just a short drive from the ferry landing.
Public Transportation
You can take a bus from Nida Beach to Klaipėda, which is the nearest city with public transportation options. From Nida, catch a local bus to Klaipėda (the journey takes about 1 hour). Upon arriving in Klaipėda, transfer to a bus that goes to the Smiltynė ferry terminal. The ferry ride from Klaipėda to Smiltynė will take about 10-15 minutes. The total cost for the bus and ferry should be around 5-7 EUR. Once you arrive at the Smiltynė ferry terminal, Smiltynės Beach is within walking distance, follow the beach path to reach your destination.
