If you are driving from a location in Suvalkija, take the A5 highway towards Vilnius. After approximately 90 km, take the exit towards Trakai (Road 113). Follow the signs for Trakai, and once you enter the town, look for Kęstučio g. 4. The Trakai History Museum will be on your right. There may be parking available nearby, but check local signage for any parking fees.

To reach Trakai History Museum via public transport, first, take a bus from major towns in Suvalkija (like Marijampolė or Šakiai) to Vilnius. From Vilnius, head to the Vilnius bus station and catch a bus to Trakai, which runs frequently throughout the day. The bus ride to Trakai takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Trakai bus station, exit and walk towards Kęstučio g. 4, which will take approximately 15 minutes on foot. Follow the signs towards the castle, and the museum will be located near the lake.
