Walking
If you are at Trakai Island Castle, head towards the bridge that connects the castle to the mainland. Cross the bridge, and once you reach the other side, you will find yourself on the banks of Lake Galvė. Continue walking along the path that runs adjacent to the lake. The scenic views will guide you along the way as you approach the eastern side of the lake.
Car
From Trakai Island Castle, exit the castle grounds and turn onto the main road (Vytauto g.). Drive straight for about 1 km. You will see signs for Lake Galvė as you approach the shoreline. There are several parking areas along the lake where you can stop and enjoy the surroundings. Look out for designated parking spots near the lake.
Public Transportation
If you're using public transportation, head to the nearest bus stop on the main road (Vytauto g.) after leaving Trakai Island Castle. Take bus number 1 or 3 towards Trakai. The journey will take about 5 minutes. Get off at the 'Trakai' bus stop. From there, it's just a short 10-minute walk to the edge of Lake Galvė, following the signs towards the lake.
