Getting There

  • Walking

    From Trakai Island Castle, exit the castle grounds and head towards the main path leading to the mainland. Follow the path until you reach the bridge connecting the island to the mainland. Cross the bridge, and once you reach the other side, turn left onto Vytauto g. Continue walking straight until you reach Maironio g. Turn right onto Maironio g., and St. Anne's Church will be located on your left at Maironio g. 8. The entire walk will take approximately 20 minutes.

    If you prefer public transportation, you can take a local bus from Trakai to Vilnius. First, head to the Trakai bus station, located near the entrance to the castle grounds. Purchase a ticket to Vilnius (approximately 2-3 EUR). After about a 30-minute ride, get off at the Vilnius bus station. From there, you can either walk to St. Anne's Church, which is about a 15-minute walk, or take a local tram or bus. If walking, head onto Sodų g., then turn right onto Maironio g.
