Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Utena, start at the Utena Bus Station. Head east on Vilniaus street towards the intersection with J. Basanavičiaus street. Continue straight until you reach the main square of Utena. From the square, head north on Šaltinėlio street. After about 500 meters, you will reach a small park. Cross the park and continue onto the road that leads out of the city towards Ignalina. Follow the road until you see signs for Vyžių partizanams. The site is approximately 10 kilometers from the city center, so be prepared for a long walk or consider taking a bike if available.

• Public Transport

  Start at Utena Bus Station and take a bus towards Ignalina. Buses run regularly, so check the schedule at the station. The ride should take about 30 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to Ignalina District. From there, you may need to ask locals for directions or use a map app on your phone. The site is about a 2-kilometer walk from the nearest bus stop, so prepare for a short hike through the countryside.

• Bicycling

  If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Utena Bus Station and head north on the main road towards Ignalina. This route is approximately 10 kilometers and follows a mostly straight path. Be sure to follow the road signs indicating the direction to Vyžių partizanams. The ride should take around 30-40 minutes, depending on your cycling speed. There are no dedicated bike paths, so take care while riding on the road.
