    From Utena city center, head to the Utena Bus Station located at Maironio g. 6. Take the bus heading towards Molėtai or any bus that stops in Kulionys. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the stop for Kulionys. Once you arrive at Kulionys, disembark and head towards the main road. The Molėtai Astronomical Observatory is a short 15-minute walk from the bus stop; simply follow the road towards the north, and you will see signs pointing the way.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Utena. Start from the central square and head east towards the main road. Follow the signs leading to Molėtai. The total distance is about 25 km, and it should take around 1-1.5 hours depending on your cycling speed. Once you reach Kulionys, look for the observatory signs which will guide you to the Molėtai Astronomical Observatory.

    If you’re feeling adventurous and want to walk, it is possible to walk from Utena to Kulionys, but it is a long trek of approximately 25 km.
