Getting There

  • Bus

    From Utena, head to the Utena Bus Station located at Maironio g. 3. Purchase a ticket to Molėtai; buses typically run several times a day. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Molėtai Bus Station, exit the bus and head towards the main road (Maironio g).

  • Walking

    After exiting the bus at Molėtai, walk along Maironio g towards the north. Continue on Maironio g until you reach the intersection with E28 (A14 road). Turn right onto the E28 road. Follow this road for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs for the Molėtai Astronomical Observatory. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions if needed.
