Car
If you are driving from Vilnius city center, start by heading northeast on Gediminas Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Vytauto Avenue, then turn right. Follow Vytauto Avenue until you reach the roundabout and take the second exit onto Maironio Street. From Maironio Street, continue straight to merge onto the A2 highway towards Panevėžys. After approximately 10 kilometers, take the exit toward Vilnius-Kaunas Road (A1) and continue for about 3 kilometers. Take the exit to Žaliųjų Ežerų g. and follow the signs to the Green Lakes Public Beach. The beach is located at Žaliųjų Ežerų g. 148B, which you will find on your right.
Public Transportation
To reach Green Lakes Public Beach using public transport, first take bus number 88 from the main bus station (Vilniaus autobusų stotis) in Vilnius. The bus departs frequently and will take you towards the Žaliųjų Ežerų stop. Once on the bus, stay on for about 30 minutes and listen for the announcement for Žaliųjų Ežerų. Upon arrival at the stop, exit the bus and walk towards Žaliųjų Ežerų g. 148B, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the signs for Green Lakes Public Beach.
