Car
From anywhere in Atchafalaya Basin, head towards US-90 E. If you are starting from the town of Morgan City, take LA-70 N to merge onto US-90 E. Continue on US-90 E for approximately 15 miles. Take the exit toward LA-83 N/Franklin. Merge onto LA-83 N and drive for about 10 miles until you reach Franklin. Once in Franklin, turn left onto Willow St. The Bayou Teche National Wildlife Refuge - Garden City Unit will be located at 1725 Willow St, Franklin, LA 70538. Parking is available on-site.

To reach Bayou Teche National Wildlife Refuge - Garden City Unit using public transportation, you will need to take a bus from Morgan City to Franklin. Once you arrive at the Franklin bus station, you can either walk or take a taxi for the remaining 1.5 miles to 1725 Willow St. Walking directions from the bus station: head north on Main St, then turn left onto Willow St, continuing until you reach the refuge.
