Car
If you are driving from New Orleans, take I-10 North towards Slidell. After about 23 miles, take exit 265A for I-12 West towards Baton Rouge. Continue on I-12 for approximately 17 miles until you reach exit 65 for LA-59 North towards Mandeville. Merge onto LA-59 North and follow the signs for 12 miles until you reach LA-1089. Turn left onto LA-1089, and after about 2 miles, you will arrive at Fontainebleau State Park located at 62883 LA-1089, Mandeville, LA 70448. Parking is available at the park entrance and may incur a small fee.
Public Transportation
For travelers using public transportation, start by taking the Greyhound bus to Mandeville. Once in Mandeville, you can use a local taxi service or rideshare app (like Uber or Lyft) to reach Fontainebleau State Park. The park is approximately 8 miles from the Mandeville bus station, and the taxi fare may cost around $15-$20. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time to ensure a smooth trip.
Bicycle
