To reach the Atchafalaya National Wildlife Refuge from Bayou Teche, start by heading northwest on LA-86 N. Continue on LA-86 N for about 10 miles until you reach the junction with US-90 W. Take the ramp to merge onto US-90 W and continue for approximately 15 miles. Take the exit onto I-10 W toward Baton Rouge. After about 25 miles, take exit 139 for LA-190 toward Lottie. Merge onto LA-190 and continue for approximately 5 miles. The refuge entrance will be on your right at Highway 190 & Interstate 10, Lottie, LA 70756. There are no tolls along this route.
