Start at the Lake Charles Transit Center located at 1000 Ryan St. Board Bus Route 6, which heads towards the Lake Charles Civic Center. You will need to transfer to Bus Route 7 at the Civic Center stop. Stay on Route 7 until you reach the stop at 'Bell City'. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk to the refuge. Head south on LA-27 for approximately 0.7 miles, and you will see the entrance to the Cameron Prairie National Wildlife Refuge on your right.
