    If you are near the French Quarter, start by heading northeast on Chartres Street toward St. Louis Street. Continue on Chartres until you reach Esplanade Avenue. Turn left onto Esplanade Avenue and walk until you reach the intersection with Bayou St. John. Continue walking straight until you reach the beautiful Bayou St. John area, which will be on your right.

    If you are near Canal Street, find the RTA streetcar line that runs on Canal Street. Take the streetcar heading towards City Park. Get off at the stop for Esplanade Avenue. From there, walk north on Esplanade Avenue until you reach Bayou St. John. The bayou will be on your right.
