    Getting There

    Walking

    If you're starting from the French Market, exit the market and head northwest on Decatur Street. Continue walking for about 0.4 miles (approximately 10 minutes). You will pass several shops and cafes. As you approach the end of Decatur Street, cross over to Chartres Street and continue walking until you reach Jackson Square, which will be on your right.

    From the iconic St. Louis Cathedral, simply walk through the square towards the park. Jackson Square is directly adjacent to the cathedral, so you will find yourself in the heart of the square in just a minute.

    Starting from the Historic Voodoo Museum, exit the museum and walk south on Chartres Street for about 0.3 miles (approximately 7 minutes). You will reach Jackson Square after passing by some beautiful historic buildings and shops. The square will be on your left.
