Getting There

    From Jackson Square, head northwest towards Decatur Street. As you reach Decatur Street, turn left. Continue walking on Decatur Street for about 5 minutes until you reach the French Quarter Visitor Center located at 419 Decatur St. It will be on your right side, easily identifiable by its signage.

    If you are at the Historic Voodoo Museum on Dumaine Street, exit the museum and head east on Dumaine Street towards Chartres Street. Turn left on Chartres Street and continue until you reach Decatur Street. Turn right on Decatur Street and walk straight for a couple of blocks until you arrive at the French Quarter Visitor Center at 419 Decatur St.

    From the French Market, head north on Chartres Street for about 2 blocks. Turn right onto Decatur Street and walk straight for approximately 3 minutes. The French Quarter Visitor Center will be on your left at 419 Decatur St.

  • Public Transportation - Streetcar

    If you are further away, you can take the St. Charles Streetcar line. Board the streetcar at any stop along St. Charles Avenue heading towards the River. Get off at the Canal Street stop. Walk towards the Mississippi River and turn right onto Decatur Street. Walk approximately 10 minutes to reach the French Quarter Visitor Center located at 419 Decatur St. Note that a one-way streetcar fare is $1.25.
