Getting There

• Bus

  From Slidell, head to the nearest bus stop and catch the Jefferson Transit route 108, which will take you towards New Orleans. Stay on the bus until you reach the 'Canal at Chartres' stop. Once you get off, walk southwest on Chartres Street for about 5 minutes. The Pepper Palace will be on your right at 224 Chartres St.

• Train

  Make your way to the Slidell Amtrak station. From there, take the train to New Orleans Union Passenger Terminal. Once you arrive, exit the terminal and head towards Poydras Street. Catch the streetcar on the Canal Street line and ride it until you reach the 'Canal at Chartres' stop. Walk southwest on Chartres Street for about 5 minutes to reach the Pepper Palace at 224 Chartres St.

• Bicycle

  If you're feeling adventurous, consider renting a bicycle from a local shop in Slidell. Head towards the Tammany Trace Trail and follow it south until you reach the Lakeshore Drive. Continue along Lakeshore Drive until you reach the intersection with US-90. Take US-90 into New Orleans, and navigate to Chartres Street. Once on Chartres, head south until you reach 224 Chartres St, where the Pepper Palace is located.

• Walking

  If you're up for a walk, start at the Slidell Historic District. Walk south towards the train station and follow the pedestrian paths leading to the nearby bus stops. From there, you can board the Jefferson Transit route 108, which will bring you to New Orleans. Get off at 'Canal at Chartres', then walk southwest along Chartres Street for about 5 minutes to reach the Pepper Palace at 224 Chartres St.
