Start from the town center of Diekirch. Head south on Avenue de la Gare towards Rue de l'Église. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Rue de la Libération and follow it until you reach the intersection with Rue de l'Industrie. Turn left onto Rue de l'Industrie and continue walking until you reach the bus station. From the bus station, take the bus number 1 or 5 towards Luxembourg City. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the stop 'Place de la Constitution'. From there, walk north on Avenue de la Liberté until you reach Rue Notre Dame, where the Cathédrale Notre-Dame is located.

To reach Cathédrale Notre-Dame from Diekirch using public transport, go to the Diekirch train station. Take the train heading towards Luxembourg City. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Luxembourg City station, follow the signs to the bus terminal. Take bus number 1 or 5 from the bus terminal towards 'Luxembourg - Place de la Constitution'. The bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Place de la Constitution', and then walk north on Avenue de la Liberté. Turn left onto Rue Notre Dame, where you will find the Cathédrale Notre-Dame.
