Bus
From Diekirch, head to the central bus station located near the town square. Take bus line 570 towards Trier. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Trier, Hauptbahnhof' stop. From there, follow the signs to the city center. Walk straight along Kaiserstraße for about 10 minutes until you reach Willy-Brandt-Platz, where the Electoral Palace is located at number 3.
Train
Make your way to the Diekirch train station, which is a short walk from the town center. Board a train heading towards Luxembourg City. At Luxembourg City, change trains to a regional train bound for Trier. Once you arrive at Trier train station, exit the station and head towards the city center. Walk along the main road, Bahnhofstraße, which leads directly to Willy-Brandt-Platz, where the Electoral Palace is located.
Walking
If you are starting from the center of Diekirch, walk towards the river and follow the riverside path. Continue along the river for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the bridge. Cross the bridge and then follow the signs for the bicycle path leading to Trier. This scenic route will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, so be prepared for a longer walk. Once you reach Trier, head towards Willy-Brandt-Platz.
