    Getting There

    Walking

    From the center of Diekirch, head south on Rue de la Gare towards Rue de l'Industrie. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenue de la Gare. Turn right onto Avenue de la Gare. Walk straight for about 1.5 km until you reach the bus stop 'Diekirch, Gare'. From here, take Bus 1 towards Luxembourg. After approximately 25 minutes, get off at 'Luxembourg, Gare' stop. Once you arrive at the Gare, walk towards the city center by following the signs to 'Centre Ville'. Continue straight, passing the 'Place de la Constitution' and then stroll down Avenue de la Liberté. After about 15 minutes of walking, you'll arrive at '17 Rue du Marché-aux-Herbes' where the Palais Grand-Ducal is located.

    Public Transport

    Start at the Diekirch train station and board a train heading towards Luxembourg City. The train journey takes around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at 'Luxembourg' train station, exit the station, and walk towards the main exit. From the train station, take Bus 1 or Bus 16 towards 'Luxembourg, Gare'. After a few stops, get off at 'Luxembourg, Gare' and then follow the walking directions provided: head towards the city center, passing 'Place de la Constitution' and then walking down Avenue de la Liberté for about 15 minutes until you reach '17 Rue du Marché-aux-Herbes'.
