    Walking

    From the center of Diekirch, head south on Rue de la Gare until you reach the intersection with Boulevard F. D. Roosevelt. Turn left onto Boulevard F. D. Roosevelt and continue until you reach the bus station at Place de la Gare. Take bus number 1 towards Luxembourg City. After about 30 minutes, get off at the stop 'Luxembourg, Hamilius'. From here, walk to the tram stop 'Luxembourg, Hamilius' and take the tram towards 'Luxembourg, Rousegärtchen'. Get off at 'Luxembourg, Place de l'Etoile'. Continue walking towards 'Mnt du Grund', following signs for the Grund district, which is about a 10-minute walk downhill. The Spanish Gate will be located at the end of your walk.

    Bus

    From Diekirch, take the bus number 1 towards Luxembourg City. You will pass through several stops, and the journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Luxembourg, Hamilius' stop. From there, either take a tram towards 'Luxembourg, Rousegärtchen' and get off at 'Luxembourg, Place de l'Etoile', followed by a 10-minute walk downhill to 'Mnt du Grund', or simply walk downhill from 'Hamilius' to reach the Spanish Gate.

    After taking the bus from Diekirch to 'Luxembourg, Hamilius', walk to the tram stop at 'Hamilius'. Take the tram towards 'Luxembourg, Rousegärtchen' and get off at 'Luxembourg, Place de l'Etoile'. From there, follow the signs directing you to the Grund district, which is approximately a 10-minute walk downhill. You will find the Spanish Gate at 'Mnt du Grund'.
