From the Diekirch train station, head southeast on Rue de la Gare towards Rue de l'Industrie. Turn left onto Rue de l'Industrie and continue until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Avenue de la Libération. Walk straight until you reach Place du Marché. From there, continue straight on Rue de la Liberté until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Basse. Turn right onto Rue de la Basse and follow it until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Fontaine. Turn left onto Rue de la Fontaine, and then take the first right onto Rue de l'Église. Continue straight for about 500 meters, and you will see the Trier Saint Peter's Cathedral on your left at Liebfrauenstraße 12.

From Diekirch, take the bus number 1 towards Ettelbruck. Board the bus at the Diekirch bus station. After approximately 20 minutes, alight at the 'Ettelbruck Gare' stop. From there, transfer to a train heading towards Trier. The train journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Trier Hauptbahnhof, exit the station and head southwest towards Kaiserstraße. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Liebfrauenstraße. Turn left onto Liebfrauenstraße, and you will find Trier Saint Peter's Cathedral at number 12.
