Walking
From the central square of Diekirch (Place Joseph Lentz), head east on Rue de la Gare until you reach the intersection with Rue de l'Eglise. Turn left onto Rue de l'Eglise and continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Route de Luxembourg (N7), and continue walking for about 1 kilometer. You will see signs for the train station. Cross the bridge over the River Our, and follow the path that leads to the train station. From there, you can take a train to Trier, which will take approximately 45 minutes.

Bus
From the central bus station in Diekirch, take bus line 1 towards Ettelbruck. Get off at the 'Ettelbruck' stop. From there, transfer to bus line 4 towards 'Trier'. This bus will take you directly to Trier. The journey will take about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Trier, you can walk to the Karl-Marx-Denkmal which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus station. Head south on Nordallee; the monument will be on your left at Nordallee 1.
