Getting There

  • Bus

    From Dudelange, head to the nearest bus stop which is located on Avenue de la Liberté. Take the bus number 1 towards 'Luxembourg, Gare'. Stay on the bus for approximately 25 minutes. You will pass through several stops including 'Lëtzebuerg, Gare' and 'Lëtzebuerg, Knuedler'. Get off at 'Luxembourg, Knuedler'. From there, walk towards Rue du Marché-aux-Herbes, which is approximately a 10-minute walk. You will find the Palais Grand-Ducal at 17 Rue du Marché-aux-Herbes.

  • Train

    Make your way to Dudelange train station (Gare de Dudelange). Board a train heading to Luxembourg City. The train ride will take about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Luxembourg train station, exit the station and head towards the main road (Avenue de la Liberté). From there, take the bus number 1 towards 'Luxembourg, Knuedler'. Get off at 'Luxembourg, Knuedler' and then walk for about 10 minutes to reach the Palais Grand-Ducal at 17 Rue du Marché-aux-Herbes.

    If you prefer to walk, you can take a scenic route from Dudelange to Luxembourg City, which is approximately a 10 km walk. Start from the center of Dudelange and head north towards the city. Follow the path through the Parc de la Ville, and then continue straight towards Avenue de la Liberté. Once you reach the city center, head to Rue du Marché-aux-Herbes, where you will find the Palais Grand-Ducal at number 17. Note that this will take over 2 hours, so ensure you are prepared for a long walk.
