Getting There

Walking
If you are in the center of Echternach, head towards the bus station located at Gare routière. From there, take the bus line 110 or 111 towards Luxembourg City. After approximately 30 minutes, you will arrive at Luxembourg Gare (the main train station). From the bus stop, walk towards the train station, exit to the street, and follow the signs toward the city center. Continue straight until you reach the Place de la Gare, where you will find the tram stop. Take the tram line T1 towards 'Luxembourg, Luxexpo.' Disembark at the stop 'Luxembourg, Hamilius.' From there, continue walking straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Rue Notre Dame. The Cathédrale Notre-Dame will be on your left.

From Echternach, start your journey at the bus station (Gare routière) and take bus line 110 or 111 to Luxembourg City. The ride will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Luxembourg Gare (the main train station), exit and head towards the tram station located nearby. Board tram line T1 towards 'Luxembourg, Luxexpo.' Get off at the 'Luxembourg, Hamilius' stop. After exiting the tram, walk straight towards the Rue Notre Dame. Continue walking for about 10 minutes, and you will arrive at the Cathédrale Notre-Dame on your left side.

If you prefer to bike, rent a bicycle in Echternach and follow the bike paths towards Luxembourg City. The ride will take approximately 1 hour. Follow the marked bike routes leading to Luxembourg, and as you approach the city, look for signs directing you to the city center. Once you reach Luxembourg, park your bike at any nearby bike racks and walk towards Rue Notre Dame, which is about a 10-minute walk from the city center. The Cathédrale Notre-Dame will be on your left.
