If you are in the center of Echternach, start at the Abbey of Echternach, a notable landmark. From the Abbey, head south on Rue de l'Abbaye toward Rue de la Gare. Continue straight until you reach the junction at Place du Marché. Turn left onto Rue du Commerce, which will take you through the town center. Continue walking until you reach Rue des Tanneurs. The Prehistory Museum will be located on your right at number 2 Rue des Tanneurs, just a few minutes' walk from the town center.

If you prefer to take public transport, head to the nearest bus stop, which is the Echternach Gare. From there, take bus line 111 towards Luxembourg City. Disembark at the next stop, which is 'Echternach - Tanneurs'. Once you get off the bus, walk back along Rue des Tanneurs, and you will find the Prehistory Museum at number 2 on your left.
