Getting There

    From the center of Echternach, head towards the main road (Rue de la Gare). Walk straight towards the direction of the train station. Once you reach the train station, take the bus to Trier. Buses typically run every 30 minutes. When you arrive at Trier, head towards the city center via the bus terminal exit. Continue straight until you reach the Hauptmarkt (Main Market Square). From there, follow the signs to Olewiger Str., which is approximately a 15-minute walk. The Trier Amphitheater will be on your right after you walk along Olewiger Str. for about 10 minutes.

    From Echternach, make your way to the bus stop at the center of the town. Look for the bus number that goes to Trier (usually bus number 4 or similar). Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride that lasts about 30-40 minutes. Upon arrival at Trier, you can walk towards the city center and follow the directions to the Amphitheater as outlined above.

  • Train and Walking

    If you prefer to take the train, walk to the Echternach train station and take a train to Trier. Once you arrive at Trier train station, exit and walk towards the city center following signs to the Hauptmarkt. After reaching the Hauptmarkt, proceed to Olewiger Str. and follow the street until you reach the Amphitheater, which will be on your right.
