Walking
If you are starting from the center of Echternach, head south on Rue de la Gare towards the intersection with Rue de la Libération. Continue straight onto Rue de la Basilique. After about 400 meters, you will see the Abbey of Echternach on your left. The entrance is well marked, so keep an eye out for the large stone façade of the basilica.

From the Echternach train station, take bus line 1 towards the city center. Get off at the stop 'Echternach, Centre'. From there, walk south on Rue de la Libération and continue onto Rue de la Basilique. The Abbey is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop, located on your left.

If you have rented a bike, start from the city center and cycle south on Avenue de la Libération. Turn left onto Rue de la Basilique after approximately 1 kilometer. The Abbey of Echternach will be on your left side after about 400 meters.
