Walking
From the center of Grevenmacher, head southeast on Rue de la Gare towards the Moselle River. Continue straight for about 200 meters until you reach the riverbank. Turn left and follow the river for approximately 5 kilometers. You will pass beautiful views of the Moselle and vineyards. Once you reach Trier, you will see the Alter Kran (Old Crane) on your right near the river. It is located at 54290 Trier, a well-known historical landmark.

From Grevenmacher, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Rue de la Gare. Take bus line 110 towards Trier. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Get off at the bus stop 'Trier, Hauptbahnhof.' From there, it's a 10-minute walk. Head southeast on Bahnhofsstraße, then turn right onto Simeonstraße, which leads directly to the river. Continue walking along the river until you see the Alter Kran (Old Crane) on your left.
