Walking
If you are in the heart of Grund, head towards the river Alzette. Walk along the picturesque streets towards the direction of the Neumünster Abbey (Abbaye de Neumünster). Once you reach the abbey, continue straight ahead until you see the small bridge that crosses the river. After crossing the bridge, take an immediate right and follow the path that leads uphill. The War Memorial (1939 - 1945) is located just a short walk from the bridge, on the left side of the path. It is a prominent landmark, so you should easily spot it.

Public Transport
Although Grund is best explored on foot, you can take Bus Line 1 or 16 from the nearest bus stop (Rue de la Poste in Grund) to reach the central station (Gare Centrale). From there, you can take Bus Line 9 or 12 back towards Grund. However, this method is not recommended as it may take longer than walking directly to the memorial. The bus fare is approximately €2, which is valid for a two-hour journey within the city.
