Once you reach the abbey, continue straight ahead until you see the small bridge that crosses the river. After crossing the bridge, take an immediate right and follow the path that leads uphill. The War Memorial (1939 - 1945) is located just a short walk from the bridge, on the left side of the path. It is a prominent landmark, so you should easily spot it.
