Car
From Mullerthal, take the CR 100 road heading north towards Vianden. Follow the signs for Vianden. The drive will take approximately 25 minutes. Once you arrive in Vianden, follow the signs to Mnt du Château. There is parking available near the castle, but do note that there may be a parking fee ranging from €1 to €2 per hour.
Public Transportation
To reach Vianden Castle via public transportation, take a bus from Mullerthal to Vianden. You can catch the bus from the Mullerthal bus stop. The bus number you will need is 570, which runs approximately every hour. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Vianden bus stop, follow the signs to Mnt du Château. The castle is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop, uphill towards the castle entrance.
Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bicycle in Mullerthal. Follow the scenic cycling paths heading north towards Vianden. The ride is approximately 10 km and will take around 35-40 minutes depending on your pace. Once you arrive in Vianden, there are designated bike parking areas near the castle entrance.
