From the center of Remich, walk to the bus stop 'Remich, Gare' which is located on Avenue de la Liberté. Take bus line 110 towards 'Trier, Hauptbahnhof'. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Alight at 'Trier, Hauptbahnhof' and then transfer to bus line 1 towards 'Trier, Porta Nigra'. Get off at 'Trier, Willy-Brandt-Platz'. The Electoral Palace will be right in front of you.
Train
Start your journey at the Remich train station. Take the train towards 'Trier'. After a short ride, you will arrive at 'Trier Hauptbahnhof'. From the train station, walk towards the bus stop and take bus line 1 towards 'Trier, Porta Nigra'. Disembark at 'Trier, Willy-Brandt-Platz'. The Electoral Palace will be directly in front of you.
Walking
If you prefer walking, start from the center of Remich and head towards the Moselle River. Follow the riverside promenade towards the north until you reach the bridge that crosses into Germany. Cross the bridge and continue straight into Trier. Once in Trier, follow the signs to the city center and the Electoral Palace, which is located at Willy-Brandt-Platz 3. This walk will take approximately 1.5 hours.
Bicycle
For those who enjoy cycling, rent a bike in Remich and follow the Moselle River bike path northward. This scenic route leads you across the border into Germany. Once you enter Trier, follow the signs towards the city center. The Electoral Palace is located at Willy-Brandt-Platz 3, which is easily accessible by bike and will take about 40-50 minutes.
