Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Remich, head north towards the Moselle River. Follow the riverbank path, which is well marked and offers scenic views. Continue along the path for about 3 kilometers. You'll pass through a wooded area and see various local plants and wildlife. After approximately 30-40 minutes of walking, you will arrive at the village of Bech-Kleinmacher.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  Starting from Remich, head to the nearest bus stop, which is located on the main street in the town center. Take Bus Line 111 towards Schengen. The journey takes around 10-15 minutes. Get off at the Bech-Kleinmacher stop. From there, it is a short walk (about 10 minutes) to Wellenstein, following the signs leading to the hiking area.

• Biking

  If you prefer to bike, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Remich. From the rental location, head towards the Moselle River and take the bike path that runs parallel to the river. This path is smooth and safe for cyclists. Continue for about 3 kilometers, which should take around 15-20 minutes. When you reach Bech-Kleinmacher, follow the local signs to Wellenstein, which is a short ride from the village center.
