Car
From any point in Upper Sûre Natural Park, navigate to the A7 highway heading southeast. Continue on A7 for approximately 30 km until you reach the intersection with the A1 highway. Merge onto A1 towards Luxembourg City. After about 20 km, take exit 7 towards Route de Thionville (N1). Follow Route de Thionville until you reach the city center. Once in the city center, follow signs to Clausen. Fort Thüngen is located at FK5, 2616 Clausen, Luxembourg, which should be recognizable as you approach the area.

Start your journey from the nearest bus or train station in Upper Sûre Natural Park. Take the bus or train to Luxembourg City. If you take a bus, look for the lines that head towards Luxembourg Gare (the main train station). Once you arrive at Luxembourg Gare, transfer to tram line T1, which operates towards the city center. Get off at the 'Rousegärtchen' tram stop. From there, it's a 10-minute walk to Fort Thüngen. Head down Rue de la Tour until you reach FK5, 2616 Clausen, where Fort Thüngen is located.
