If you are in the center of Vianden, start at the Vianden Castle. From the castle, head down the hill towards the main road (Rue de la Gare). Once you reach Rue de la Gare, turn left and continue walking straight. Follow the road as it curves until you reach the bridge over the river. Cross the bridge, and then take a right onto the main street (Rue de la Liberté). Keep walking straight until you reach the end of the street, where you'll find the bus station on your left. From the bus station, take the bus towards Trier. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Trier, alight at Hauptmarkt, which is the main market square.

From Vianden, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located at Rue de la Gare. Board the bus number 57 towards Trier. The bus will take you directly to Trier Hauptmarkt. The ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Hauptmarkt, you will find yourself in a bustling square surrounded by historic buildings and shops.
