Walking
From the center of Vianden, head towards the main road, Rue de la Gare. Walk along this road until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Liberté. Turn left onto Rue de la Liberté and continue until you reach the bus station. At the bus station, take the bus that heads towards Luxembourg City. The bus ride is approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at the stop 'Luxembourg, Gare Routière'. Once you exit the bus station, head towards Avenue de la Liberté, and then take a left onto Rue de la Fonderie. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Mnt du Grund, where you will find the Spanish (Grund) Gate.
Bus
If you are near the Vianden Castle, exit the castle and walk down to the nearest bus stop named 'Vianden, Château'. Take the bus number 570 or 571 towards Luxembourg City. After about 30 minutes, get off at 'Luxembourg, Gare Routière'. From there, walk to Avenue de la Liberté, take a left onto Rue de la Fonderie, and continue straight until you reach Mnt du Grund, where the Spanish (Grund) Gate is located.
Bicycle
If you have rented a bicycle, start from the center of Vianden and cycle towards the main road, Rue de la Gare. Follow this road and take the path that leads to the nearby forest, which will connect you to the bike path leading to Luxembourg City. The bike ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you reach the city, navigate to Avenue de la Liberté, then turn left onto Rue de la Fonderie, and you will find Mnt du Grund and the Spanish (Grund) Gate.
