If you are driving from Moramanga, take the RN2 road heading east towards Alaotra Mangoro. Continue on this road for approximately 80 kilometers until you reach the junction near Ambatondrazaka. Turn left onto the RN45 road and follow the signs to Lake Alaotra, which is located about 20 kilometers to the north. The lake will be on your right as you approach the area. Ensure your vehicle has enough fuel, as gas stations may be sparse along this route.
