Then, take Route Nationale 2 (RN2) south for about 30 km towards Mahavelona. Follow signs to Mahavelona, and once in the town, use GPS or a map application to navigate to the coordinates 8GC4+VCJ where Fort Manda is located. Parking may be available nearby the fort.

    To reach Fort Manda via public transport, start your journey at the main taxi-brousse station in Antananarivo. Take a taxi-brousse heading to Moramanga (approximately 3 hours, cost around 10,000 MGA). Once you arrive in Moramanga, you can catch a local taxi-brousse heading towards Mahavelona (around 1 hour, cost approximately 5,000 MGA). Upon arrival in Mahavelona, you can either walk to Fort Manda using GPS to guide you to 8GC4+VCJ or hire a local taxi to take you directly to the fort.
