Exceptional 3 Day Andasibe Rainforest & Wildlife Excursion in Madagascar

We had a wonderful time with Maki Adventures! Lionel was extremely helpful over WhatsApp and answered all our questions and addressed any concerns we had during the booking process, and also throughout our excursion. In particular, when one of our flights was delayed, Lionel accommodated our revised schedule and arranged for us to be picked up at the airport upon landing for the drive to our accommodation in Andasibe during the evening such that we would not miss out on the numerous excursions. Lionel also provided us with all the information we needed for the tour and kept in contact during the tour. Our driver Harrison was amazing and took extremely good care of us throughout our 3 day excursion. We learnt a lot from Harrison about Madagascar. He was very engaging and has a great personality. Harrison’s driving skills were exceptional. The roads in Madagascar are challenging, to say the least! Our 3 day excursion ran very smoothly and we had a great time! All the park/reserve guides we were assigned were excellent and provided great insight and personal interaction with the wildlife & flora/fauna we encountered (including the numerous lemurs we were able to locate and view). We highly recommend this trip if you want to visit a national park and other reserves close to Antananarivo to see lemurs, native birds, chameleons and other reptiles during your excursion.

An incredible experience with an amazing guide and exceptional driver.

The trip was amazing, traveling by road from Antananarivo to Antasibe was interesting. I saw lots of diverse pictures of Madagascar, from city life to the countryside. Getting to Antasibe was incredible, the lemurs were out of this world. The guide was exceptional, speaking English, French, German and Madagasy. He was quite knowledgeable of all of the animal life and follow through with every detail. He was fun, courteous, and knowledgeable. The driver was also exceptional, a five star experience with his ability to maneuver the curves of the road. He was also very knowledgeable and chimed in with his knowledge as we travel through the area. I would definitely choose him again.

Madagascar 7 Days Baobabs and Lemurs Tour

Just a bit of Madagascar but brilliant tour

There was so much to see and the travel was long hours on the road which were hmm interesting. The guides were very helpful, patient and we learnt a lot. The hotel stays were very good and that is worth noting considering its a touring visit. All admission fees were already included in the tour so we skipped any queues. The tour through the forest requires moderate mobility but nothing overly strenuous. We enjoyed the tour so much and it catered for us as a group. Well worth the money in my opinion.
