Car
If you're driving, start from the center of Androy. Head towards Route Nationale 13 (RN13) and follow the signs for Toliara. After approximately 130 km, you will reach the town of Toliara. From Toliara, continue on the RN13 for another 15 km until you see signs for Lemurs Park. Follow the signs to the park entrance. Be prepared for a small entrance fee, which is approximately 10,000 Ariary.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, catch a taxi-brousse (shared minibus) from Androy to Toliara. The ride takes about 3 hours and costs around 7,000 Ariary. Once in Toliara, you can catch another taxi-brousse heading towards Morondava, and ask to be dropped off at Lemurs Park. This leg of the journey may take an additional 30 minutes and could cost around 5,000 Ariary. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to stop at Lemurs Park.
Walking from Taxi Drop-off
If you arrive at the taxi-brousse stop near Lemurs Park, it's a short walk to the entrance. Follow the signs leading to the park, which is approximately 1 km away from the drop-off point. It should take you about 15-20 minutes on foot. Enjoy the local scenery along the way!
