From Ankarafantsika National Park, exit the park via the main entrance road. Turn left onto the RN4 highway towards Mahajanga. Continue on RN4 for approximately 90 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 3. Take the exit onto Route 3 towards Mahajanga. After about 15 kilometers, follow signs to Sôma beach VILLAGE, located at the coordinates 78W4+2HW, Mahajanga. The total drive will take approximately 2 hours.

From Ankarafantsika National Park, take a taxi-brousse (shared minibus) heading to Mahajanga. Taxi-brousses can be found at the entrance of the park. The fare is typically around 15,000 Ariary per person and the journey may take about 2 to 3 hours, depending on stops. Once you arrive in Mahajanga, you can take a local taxi to Sôma beach VILLAGE for an additional cost of around 10,000 Ariary.

If you are already in Mahajanga, you can walk to Sôma beach VILLAGE from the city center. Head northwest on Avenue de l'Indépendance, then turn left onto Rue des Anciens Combattants. Continue straight until you reach the coast, where Sôma beach VILLAGE is located. This walk is approximately 5 kilometers and will take about 1 hour.
