Getting There

• Walking

  If you're starting from the center of Majunga, head northwest on Avenue de l'Indépendance. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rue de la République. Take a right onto Rue de la République and walk for about 800 meters. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. Once you reach the roundabout, take the first exit onto Avenue Général de Gaulle. Continue down this road for another 1 kilometer, and you will see the entrance to Municipal Santatra Garden on your left, just past the Mahajanga Cathedral.

• Bicycle

  From the beach area, rent a bicycle and ride towards Avenue de l'Indépendance. Head north on Avenue de l'Indépendance until you reach the intersection with Rue de la République. Turn right on Rue de la République and cycle for about 800 meters. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Avenue Général de Gaulle. Keep cycling straight for about 1 kilometer, and soon you will spot the entrance to Municipal Santatra Garden on your left, just after passing the Mahajanga Cathedral.

• Public Transport (Taxi-Brousse)

  If you're near the main taxi-brousse station in Majunga, catch a taxi-brousse heading towards the city center. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Mahajanga Cathedral stop. From there, head south on Avenue Général de Gaulle, walking about 500 meters until you see the entrance to Municipal Santatra Garden on your right. Be sure to confirm with the driver that they will stop near the cathedral.
