From Antananarivo, head to the main taxi-brousse station, known as ‘Gare Routière de l'Est’ located at Avenue de l'Indépendance. Look for a taxi-brousse heading towards Ambohimanga or a nearby destination. The fare is usually around 2000 to 4000 Ariary. The journey will take approximately 30 to 45 minutes, depending on traffic. Inform the driver that you need to stop at Rovan' Ambohimanga.

Once you arrive at Ambohimanga, you will need to walk to the Rovan' Ambohimanga entrance. From the drop-off point, walk towards the main entrance which is well-signposted.
